Itinerary

Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning. After a quick intro, you'll hop in a comfortable minivan and head toward Da Nang to begin your half-day adventure.

Note:

  • The tour departs in the morning with a light lunch: 7:30 - 13:00
  • The tour departs in the afternoon without eating: 14:00 - 18:00

Arrive at the Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone and marble hills filled with caves, pagodas, and viewpoints. Your guide will explain the religious significance of the area, highlighting the differences between Buddhism and Hinduism as you explore hidden temples carved into the rocks.

Next, step into Am Phu Cave, known for its dramatic depiction of Buddhist hell. Walk through eerie tunnels and stone sculptures representing scenes of judgment and punishment. It’s a dark but fascinating contrast to the peaceful temples above.

After the caves, the tour continues to Monkey Mountain (Son Tra Peninsula), where you'll visit the towering 67-meter-tall Lady Buddha statue in Linh Ung Pagoda, the tallest in Central Vietnam. Take in panoramic views of the sea, mountains, and Da Nang city from this serene and scenic spot.

After a memorable trip of culture, nature, and stunning views, (enjoy a delicious local lunch if it's morning tour) then your guide will drive you back to your hotel.

FAQ

Is this tour suitable for children or older travelers?

Yes, it’s a relaxed tour. Just note there are some stairs at the Marble Mountains and uneven paths inside the cave. Families and older travelers can take it slow or skip certain sections if needed.

Is there a dress code for visiting temples or religious sites?

Yes, it’s respectful to cover shoulders and knees when entering temples or pagodas. A light scarf or cover-up is useful.

What happens if it rains?

The tour runs in light rain. In fact, misty conditions can make the Marble Mountains look even more dramatic. In case of heavy rain or unsafe conditions, we’ll contact you about changes.

Will we see monkeys at Monkey Mountain (Son Tra)?

You might! The area is home to rare langurs and monkeys, but sightings are not guaranteed. Still, the views and the Lady Buddha statue make it a worthwhile stop even without wildlife.

Can I be dropped off at a different location after the tour?

Yes, we can arrange drop-off in Da Nang or Hoi An. Just mention your preference when booking.
