Itinerary

Meet your guide at the office, hop on your bike, and set off toward the countryside. Right away, you’ll leave behind the busy streets of Hoi An and find yourself cycling along quiet lanes surrounded by rice paddies and small farms.

Ride through the islands of the Thu Bon river delta, using local ferries and even a floating bridge to cross the waterways. This part of the trip feels far from the tourist routes and gives you a chance to see everyday rural life along the riverbanks.

Visit small village workshops where locals still practice age-old crafts. See how wooden riverboats are built, and watch artisans weave colorful sleeping mats from straw — a craft Hoi An is famous for. These stops are a chance to chat with locals and learn how their skills have been passed down through generations.

Try out a traditional Vietnamese basket boat, the round bamboo boats used in this region’s waterways. It’s a fun, hands-on experience that also connects you with a unique part of coastal life in central Vietnam.

Around midday, you’ll be welcomed into the home of a Vietnamese family for a traditional lunch. This is more than just a meal — it’s a glimpse into family customs and daily routines. Afterward, you can relax in the garden, often under the shade of a mango tree, before continuing the journey.

Lunch

In the afternoon, board a boat for a leisurely 35-minute ride back along the Thu Bon River. It’s the perfect way to end the day — drifting past fishing boats, river islands, and lush scenery before returning to Hoi An around 3:00 PM.
