Climate and region of Con Dao
Con Dao is a small island group off the southeastern coast of Vietnam, located 230 km from Ho Chi Minh City. It is known for its pristine beaches, national parks, and historical sites, making it a unique but remote destination.
The tropical monsoon climate of Con Dao is divided into:
- Dry season (November to April): Mostly sunny, dry, and calm, making it the best time for outdoor activities.
- Rainy season (May to October): Characterized by higher humidity, frequent tropical showers, and cloudy skies, though the sea remains relatively calm compared to other parts of Vietnam.
September is still in the rainy season, meaning daily rain showers and overcast conditions are expected.
