Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, your friendly driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. After check-in and some time to settle in, the evening begins with a dinner cruise along the Saigon River. Enjoy a stunning view of the city skyline, indulge in a delicious buffet dinner, and listen to live music as you cruise for about 1.5 hours. It's the perfect introduction to Ho Chi Minh City from the water, offering a beautiful and relaxing start to your 7-day Vietnam tour.

Start the day with a journey to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels, where you’ll learn about Vietnam’s wartime history, explore hidden trapdoors, and sample local treats like tapioca. Day 03 :
Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho
Check out from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and head towards Can Tho, a peaceful area in the Mekong Delta. After arriving, check in to your charming riverfront homestay. Enjoy lunch by the river as you watch daily life unfold on the Mekong's bustling waterways. In the afternoon, embark on a private boat trip along the delta’s canals, where you’ll visit floating markets, fruit orchards, and even a local noodle factory. Cycle along rural paths to explore more of the authentic countryside, where time seems to stand still.

Start your day early with a boat trip through the Mekong Delta at sunrise. Head to the Phong Dien Floating Market, a quieter market where you can enjoy a local breakfast and mingle with market vendors. Next, cruise through narrow canals and visit a fruit orchard where you can taste fresh, tropical fruits. Continue your exploration to the Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest in the delta, and witness its unique style of commerce on boats. Before returning to the homestay, you’ll visit a rice paper local factory to see the production process in action. The rest of the day is yours to relax or enjoy an optional massage.

Day 05 :
From Can Tho to Phu Quoc
Enjoy breakfast at your homestay before checking out and heading to Rach Gia for the ferry to Phu Quoc Island. The ferry ride takes you across the waters to the island, where a driver will meet you and take you to your seaside resort. After check-in, you’re free to enjoy the pristine beaches, explore the island, or simply relax and unwind in paradise. The evening is at your leisure, giving you the freedom to discover more of the island or indulge in a delicious seafood dinner by the beach.

Phu Quoc Free Day
This day is completely free for you to enjoy Phu Quoc at your own pace. Lounge on the beautiful beaches, enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear waters, or explore the island’s natural beauty. You can also consider visiting a local fishing village, exploring the Vinpearl Safari, or hiking in the Phu Quoc National Park. Whatever you choose, this day allows you to fully relax and immerse yourself in the tropical paradise of Phu Quoc.
Breakfast
After breakfast at your resort, take your last moments to relax before checking out. Your driver will transfer you to Phu Quoc Airport for your flight back to Ho Chi Minh City. From there, you’ll catch your international flight home, bringing your incredible 7-day Vietnam tour to a close. Is 7 days enough for South Vietnam?
Yes. In 7 days you get a very good glimpse of Southern Vietnam. You experience three very different sides: the urban energy of Ho Chi Minh City, the river life of the Mekong Delta, and beach time on Phu Quoc. There is much more to see in the region, but this itinerary covers the main highlights without rushing.
When is the best time for this South Vietnam tour?
The best time is December–April, the dry season with warm, sunny weather and comfortable beach days on Phu Quoc. May–November is the rainy season, but rain usually comes in short tropical showers, so travel is still possible. June–August can be hotter and more humid.
Are the Cu Chi Tunnels okay if I’m claustrophobic?
Yes and no — it depends on the level of claustrophobia. The tunnels are widened for visitors, but they are still low and narrow. If confined spaces make you uncomfortable, you may not enjoy crawling inside. However, Cu Chi is not only tunnels. You can stay outside and still visit other interesting areas such as wartime exhibits, reconstructed traps, underground shelters, and the firing range. If you prefer, we can adjust the itinerary to avoid crawling sections.
Is the Mekong Delta touristy?
Parts of it are. The floating markets included in this itinerary—Phong Dien and Cai Rang—are less authentic than they used to be, and they attract visitors. But they are still a fun and atmospheric way to start the day with breakfast and coffee on the boat. The real charm comes from the quieter canals, small workshops, fruit orchards, and cycling routes, which feel much more local and authentic.
Can I add more days in Phu Quoc?
Absolutely. We can easily extend your time on the island. You can add extra beach days, snorkeling, island-hopping, or simply relax at your resort. We can adjust the itinerary by shortening another stop or extend the total length if you have more days available.
Is this a private tour or a group tour?
The tour is private. All transfers and accommodation are arranged just for your booking. Some day activities, such as the Cu Chi Tunnel visit or parts of the Mekong tours, can involve small groups depending on your preference and budget. If you want everything fully private, we can arrange that too.
