Itinerary

Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel in central Hue. Meet your guide and driver, then settle in for the journey north toward Quang Tri Province. Along the way, you'll stop at several meaningful wartime sites that help set the stage for what’s ahead.

This bombed-out Catholic church still stands as a raw reminder of the fighting that took place during the Easter Offensive. It’s one of the most iconic ruins in the region.

Explore the site of one of the fiercest battles of the Vietnam War. Though most of the original fortress is gone, the memorial grounds and museum give a powerful look into the 1972 conflict and the thousands who died here.

Drive along Highway 9 toward the mountainous interior. Stop at Dakrong Bridge, a symbolic crossing point into the old Ho Chi Minh Trail network, surrounded by sweeping views of rivers and jungle hills.

Visit the former US Marine Corps outpost that played a major role during the Tet Offensive. Wander through rusting helicopters, bullet-ridden bunkers, and a small museum that tells the story of the siege.

Lunch break :
Enjoy local meal

Enjoy a light Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant before continuing the second half of your journey toward the coast.

Lunch

This bridge marked the official divide between North and South Vietnam at the 17th parallel. You’ll learn how daily life was affected by the split and see memorials that represent the hope for reunification.

A lesser-known but important military site used for surveillance and artillery. Though less preserved than other stops, it gives context to the region’s strategic role during the war.

End the day at the most impressive site of the tour — an underground tunnel complex where entire families lived and hid from bombings for years. You can walk through several levels of the tunnels and see how people cooked, slept, and even gave birth here.
