Itinerary

Meet your guide near Hoi An’s Ancient Town, adjust your bike, and begin the ride. You’ll cycle through the quiet backstreets lined with old shop houses before boarding a small wooden ferry. The short 10-minute boat ride takes you across the river to Cam Kim Island.

Once on the island, pedal along narrow lanes through rice fields and sleepy villages. Cam Kim is famous for boatbuilding, and you’ll see traditional fishing boats being made right by the roadside. The cycling here is flat and easy, perfect for enjoying the scenery.

After about an hour of riding, cross a long wooden bridge that connects you to Ban Thach – Dong Binh. The landscape opens up into rustic countryside, where you’ll pass duck farms, small pagodas, and farmers working their fields. It’s a great glimpse into everyday rural life.

Pause for a short rest and recharge with fresh bananas. The quiet setting gives you a chance to soak in the peaceful atmosphere before continuing the ride.

Hop on another boat for a 30-minute ride across the river toward Cam Thanh Village. Here, you have the option to join a basket boat trip through Bay Mau’s lush coconut forest. Paddling these round boats is a fun, traditional way to see the green waterways (optional, about 1 hour).

Back on the bikes, continue for about 20 minutes along secluded roads before reaching a small riverside path that winds through a palm grove. From here, ride to Tra Que, Hoi An’s well-known vegetable village, where farmers grow herbs and greens using traditional methods.

The final stretch is a pleasant 5-kilometer ride along backroads leading back to Hoi An. The tour finishes at the same spot where you started.
