Itinerary

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and the cycling adventure begins just outside the old town. You will get fitted with a quality mountain bike and helmet. After a quick safety briefing, you’ll set off on quiet backstreets lined with historic shop-houses.

Note:

  • Morning tour: 08:00 AM to 11:30 AM
  • Afternoon tour: 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM

Cross the Thu Bon River on a small wooden ferry — a scenic 10-minute ride that takes you away from the bustle of town and into the peaceful countryside.

Pedal through narrow village roads and paths surrounded by rice fields and gardens. Along the way, you’ll pass boat-building workshops and see traditional wooden fishing boats being crafted just beside the path.

After about an hour of riding, you’ll cycle across a long wooden bridge connecting Cam Kim to Kim Bong Village. The views open up here, revealing more remote farming landscapes dotted with ducks, pagodas, and water buffalo.

Take a well-deserved break in a quiet spot surrounded by farmland. Enjoy some fresh bananas and a peaceful moment to soak up the atmosphere before continuing.

Hop on another boat for a 30-minute ride toward Cam Thanh Village. This is a great time to rest your legs and enjoy the riverside scenery.

If you’d like, you can join an optional activity which is a basket boat ride for about an hour into the lush greenery of coconut swamps. It’s a fun and relaxing way to experience this unique part of the Hoi An area.

Back on the bikes, follow a quiet countryside trail for about 20 minutes. You’ll ride through shaded palm groves and pass small local farms on your way to the green and tranquil village of Tra Que.

The tour ends with a gentle 5-kilometer ride along backroads, arriving back at your starting point in Hoi An — refreshed, relaxed, and with a deeper look into local life outside the tourist crowds.
