Itinerary

Your guide picks you up at your hotel between 7:00–7:30 AM in Hoi An, or between 8:00–8:30 AM if you're staying in Da Nang. Once everyone’s on board, you’ll head north toward Hue in a comfortable van.

Enjoy a scenic ride along the Hai Van Pass, one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Vietnam. You’ll stop at the top for around 30 minutes to take in the sweeping ocean views. Afterward, make a short photo stop at Lap An Lagoon — a quiet spot with views of mountains reflected in still waters.

Late Morning :
Khai Dinh Tomb

Arrive in Hue and visit the Khai Dinh Tomb, an imperial mausoleum known for its mix of Vietnamese and French architecture. The steep stairway and mosaic-covered interiors make this one of Hue’s most visually striking landmarks.

Stop for lunch at a local restaurant that serves Hue’s signature dishes. Expect flavorful specialties like bánh bèo (steamed rice cakes), nem lụi (grilled pork skewers), or cơm hến (rice with baby clams)— depending on the day’s menu.

Lunch
Early Afternoon :
Imperial Citadel

After lunch, continue to the Imperial Citadel — the former seat of Vietnam’s Nguyen emperors. Explore the massive walled complex, including ancient gates, royal residences, and historical halls that reflect centuries of royal history.

Next, visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue’s most iconic religious site. Sitting on a quiet hill above the Perfume River, it’s known for its seven-tiered tower and peaceful garden atmosphere.

After a full day of discovery, begin the drive back. You’ll arrive in Da Nang around 6:00 PM and in Hoi An around 7:00 PM, depending on traffic. Expect to be dropped off at your hotel.
