Military Jeep Hai Van Pass Tour – from Hue to Hoi An

Your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Hue for the start of your private jeep journey. After a short safety briefing, hop into the restored U.S. Army jeep and hit the road toward the countryside.

Your first stop is Thanh Toan — a peaceful farming village just outside Hue. Stroll around the local market, see the covered Japanese-style bridge, and get a glimpse of daily rural life.

Depending on the weather and your preference, you’ll stop for a refreshing dip — either at a local waterfall tucked in the hills or at a quiet beach along the coast.

Arrive at the scenic Lang Co Bay, known for its long white-sand beach and mountain backdrop. Enjoy a relaxed seafood lunch at a local restaurant by the water.

This is the highlight of the tour. You’ll cruise over the legendary Hai Van Pass — a winding coastal road with dramatic ocean views and historic bunkers at the top. The open-air jeep lets you feel every curve and breeze as you climb to the summit.

From the top of Hai Van Pass, your jeep adventure ends and you’ll continue the descent toward Da Nang in a modern car. This allows you to stay comfortable for the remaining drive.

Stop to explore Marble Mountain — a cluster of marble and limestone hills dotted with pagodas, hidden caves, and panoramic viewpoints. You’ll have time to walk around and take in the atmosphere.

After the last stop, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel in Hoi An.
