Itinerary
Between 7:45 and 8:00 AM (or 8:45–9:10 AM if you're staying in Phong Nha), your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel. From there, you'll head into the heart of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park to kick off your adventure.
Arrive at Dark Cave, where the fun starts with a thrilling zipline across the river. You’ll gear up with a helmet and headlamp, then trek inside the cave — walking through narrow chambers, wading through water, and ending with a natural mud bath deep inside. Afterward, cool off with a swim or kayak in the surrounding turquoise water.
Enjoy a Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant near the river. After eating, take a short break before heading to your next cave.
After your cave visit, it’s time to head back to your hotel in either Dong Hoi or Phong Nha. Drop-off is expected around late afternoon — the perfect time to relax and look back on a day packed with nature and adventure.

Yes, both activities are optional. If you’d rather not participate, you can enjoy the surrounding area or wait for the group nearby.
The activities at Dark Cave involve ziplining, swimming, and walking through slippery areas in low light. It’s better suited for older children (10+) who are confident in the water and okay with a bit of adventure.
Very! Expect to walk and slide through a natural mud pool inside the cave, followed by a swim in the river. Bring swimwear and a towel — you’ll need both.
Light rain won’t stop the tour, but heavy rain or flash flood warnings may delay or cancel some activities, especially those in Dark Cave. We’ll always prioritize your safety and keep you updated.
Dark Cave involves narrow paths and low light, which may be uncomfortable for those with claustrophobia. Phong Nha Cave, however, is spacious and scenic — let us know your concern so we can advise the best option.
