Itinerary

Camping

At 9:00 AM, meet your local guide and set off on an 8–10 km trek through the forests surrounding Tuyen Lam Lake. The trail winds through a mix of lush tropical jungle and open pine hills. Along the way, your guide will point out native plants unique to the Dalat area. The route leads you up to one of the highest peaks in the region, where you’ll be rewarded with a sweeping view of Dalat’s mountain landscape.

Around midday, arrive at your lakeside campsite, where a fresh, picnic-style lunch awaits. Ingredients are all local — think crisp vegetables and fruit grown in Dalat — and your guide will prepare everything while you rest and enjoy the scenery.

By 3:30 PM, head down to the lakeshore and gear up for a peaceful kayak or stand-up paddleboard session. With your guide’s help, even beginners will feel comfortable. Drift across the water as the sun begins to set behind the mountains, casting a warm glow across the lake — one of the most peaceful moments of the trip.

At around 5:30 PM, return to the forest campsite. You’ll help pitch tents, get changed, and freshen up before the evening activities. Then, gather around the fire for a relaxed BBQ feast with grilled meats, corn, potatoes, and more. As the fire crackles, enjoy acoustic guitar music and share stories with fellow travelers before settling into your tent for the night.

Wake up at 5:30 AM to the mist rising over Tuyen Lam Lake. After a warm-up stretch and a breath of fresh air, hop into a small boat and try your hand at rowing across the still water. It’s a calm and gentle way to start the day, with only birdsong and the sound of your paddle cutting through the lake.

After rowing, enjoy a simple breakfast and sip a hot cup of coffee while taking in the peaceful lake views — a slow and satisfying start to your last morning in nature.

By 9:00 AM, help clean up the campsite, pack your things, and hop in the car for the ride back to Dalat city. Expect to arrive mid-morning, with the rest of the day free to relax or explore more of the area.
